In-app notifications

The notification center in Intello (bell icon or Notifications in the nav, depending on your build) collects items you may want to see without posting to Slack or PagerDuty.

In the app

  • Open the notifications panel to see recent items.
  • Mark as read on individual rows or use Mark all read when you’ve caught up.
  • Under Settings → Notifications (or Notification preferences), choose which categories create inbox rows—for example provider broadcasts vs. your own dependencies.

How this relates to Slack/email

  • Alert preferences decide what goes to external channels.
  • Notification preferences decide what fills the in-app inbox.

You can route breaking changes to Slack while keeping risky items only in the product, or mute noisy categories entirely.

Developers

GET /api/notifications, GET /api/notifications/unread-count, read endpoints for single/all read, and GET/PUT /api/notifications/preferences mirror the UI. Details: Core resources.
