Plans & billing

min

The honest answer to "what happens when I change plans" — without the marketing copy.

Where this lives

Settings → Billing. You'll see your current plan, usage against limits, your seat count, and your next invoice.

What plans actually limit

Three things, in order of how often they bind:

  1. Sync volume. How many spec checks per month across all integrations. Hit the cap and Intello stretches cadences proportionally — coverage stays, freshness slips.
  2. Seat count. Members and Admins count; Viewers and service accounts don't.
  3. Integration count. Loose limit; you'd have to be intentional to hit it.

The pricing page has the current numbers. They're generous enough that most teams don't think about them.

Upgrading

Takes effect immediately. Your usage caps lift the moment the upgrade processes. We prorate the difference on the next invoice — you don't pay twice for the partial month.

Downgrading

Takes effect at the end of your billing cycle, not immediately. You stay on the higher plan until the renewal date, then drop. This is intentional: nobody's tools should suddenly stop working mid-month because a finance review chose a different plan.

If your downgraded plan caps below your current usage (more integrations than the new tier allows, more seats), Intello flags it before the change takes effect and walks you through what to remove.

Pausing

You can pause at Settings → Billing → Pause subscription. Pausing freezes syncs and alerts. Your data, integrations, and history stay intact. Resuming picks up where you left off — though you'll have a gap in change history for the paused period.

Useful for:

  • Engineering freeze periods (holidays, end-of-year).
  • Migrations where you don't want noise.
  • Trial extensions you forgot to convert.

Refunds and credits

We refund unused time on annual plans pro-rated to the day. Monthly plans aren't refunded mid-cycle but you can pause or downgrade.

If something is wrong with your invoice, mail billing@useintello.com — a human reads those.

Catch OpenAPI breaking changes early

Add your spec—diffs and alerts on every sync. No credit card to start; upgrade for faster polling, Slack or Teams, and more seats.
